So I was asked to do 6 minutes clean for one of the broadband networks. I figured it’d be a cinch right? I’m not a dirty comedian. I’m fun loving and adorable. But then I realized words like penis, vagina, and bitch were considered un-clean. I quickly realized I’m far from a clean comedian. I infer like a mutha******

But I was still slightly excited. It was gonna be a 3 - camera shoot. I’ll probably get a good tape out of it. So all was good in the hood.

Until about a minute and a half into my set. Thats when a young lady yelled out a punch line (or what she thought should be the punchline) to a joke I was telling. I then did something I’ve never done before (in comedy).

I leaned forward. Spoke very clearly and concisely into the mic and said “I will kill you.”

Now. This can’t be a good thing right? I didn’t even say it in a Michael Richards fit of anger. I was calm. I said it with conviction. I bent down a bit so she could really see me when I said it too. Why? I don’t know. I think the only thing I could think was ‘You’ve just ruined my tape. You may have to die.’

But I’d like to take this time out to say to the public, I am not going to kill the woman who yelled in my set. If she is found hurt, wounded, poisoned or dead, please note that I didn’t mean my threat to kill her. It was comedy. And by comedy, I mean a moment of pain vocalized via idle threats.
