Yup. It’s my birthday. My birthday has kinda grown through the years. This is what I’ve done for the past 10 years.

2006 - Musical (G/F took me to see Wicked. I really really wanted to go.)
2005 - Kick Ass Party in Bklyn. Lots of friends and comedians came to celebrate.
2004 - Shitty Shitty party(though really Fun because Fahnon got drunk)
2003 - Drunken Stupor (Fire department was called. Don’t ask.)
2002 - Strip Joint (Had fat chick sit on my head. Not pleasant.)
2001 - No Clue, I’m assuming it was bad enough that I blocked it out.
2000 - Musical (ex G/F took me to see Jekyl and Hyde. Really, really didn’t want to go. And then went to the theme restuarant. Yes, I don’t think she knew me at all.)
1999 - Akward drink at a bar. First drink EVER. Didn’t know what I started.
1998 - Broken up not unlike a bitch Prolly cried here too. Then g/f who broke up with me came over with cake and to hook up. Just in case you’re wondering? Thats how you destroy a man.
1997 - Cried after breakdown. Like serious wondering the street breakdown. Showed up at my mothers house at like 5 in the morning trying to find the meaning of life.

As you can see, things have gotten a lot better. Like, my birthday sucked for years on in and in the past like 3 years all of a sudden they’ve gotten a lot better. This year was probably the most kick ass and it was the most tame of them all. My loving girlfriend took me to see Wicked(which i had WANTED to see. Yes. I like musicals. Fuck you.) and then to a very nice french steak dinner where I wet myself because the steak was soo good. I didn’t party or anything. I plan to grab a drink with some folks this weekend maybe but thats about it. I always thought that birthday’s were supposed to be about spectacle and how many people come to your party.

In the end, its great to just have the one person who loves you around.
