Being a stand-up comic is rough.

Being a stand-up comic with ADD is a bit rougher.

“Why Mr. White?”

Simple. To stay together in this biz you have to keep it together. Bad sets don’t mean you now are untalented, it means you’re having a hiccup. The problem with ADD is that these bad sets are all that you remember. You don’t remember your good sets, and even when they’re brought up you don’t remember the feeling of confidence that you had then. You only remember the feeling of helplessness you now feel.

I say all this to say that I’m breaking down.

I’m trying to focus. Really. But its not working. Material that works now doesn’t. I don’t clearly remember it working in the first place. And on top of it I have a little birdy in my ear telling me how much I suck.

You gotta love when the birdie wont shut the fuck up.

And im melting. Im actually starting to physically melt. This heat shit aint cutting it.

Bleh. I figured i should write in this fricken thing so here it is. I’m hot.
