What in holy fuck is wrong with the fricken transit union? Are you telling me that they thought this was a good idea? Hey, lets shut down NYC. If new hires have to pay into their pension at 6 percent thats OBVIOUSLY reason enough to endanger other New Yorkers.

Yes I said endanger.

I know a lady who is freaking out about the strike. She has work. She doesn’t have cab fare. She has a heart condition. She is also about to be evicted from her home unless she makes certain payments on time. But she’s about to lose atleast a day’s pay, if not more because hey, the Transit folks have to get that 6 percent. She could be homeless but its okay. She’ll deal right?

I’m a comic and producer. I have shows that are supposed to go on. This isn’t nearly as tragic as the woman who may be homelesss, but its upsetting to me. I now have to decide should i get comics out to a show that might not be. Having them take every form of transportation there is, or do I call the show, hurting the venue we are supposed to be at. Personally I dont know if I’ll make it there. I’m gonna have to get a bike trek in the cold a few miles. Gotta love that freezing weather biking.

I’m so fricken pissed. I swear I hope Bloomberg finds some way to destroy this union. To pull this move now is on the edge of evil.
