Week 2 of the Pro Shop in the bag!

Last night was a cool show. We had premium blenders and fricken 3 time emmy winner Chris Regan. I’m tottally impressed with the show. I was speaking with Matt, one of the owners of the Lovely Sin Sin Bar and Lounge about starting to book the next month of comics, and he told me “Go. Start the booking. Consider yourselves full time here”

Can anyone say “YEAH BEEYOTCH” I know that you can.

So I’ve met an interesting person this weekend. A brand new comedian. They’ve never stepped foot on stage but they have a ridiculous amount of material. They came by the audition this weekend and actually DIDN’T audition. I thought that was amusing. I understood why. I remember when I first started I was scared out of my mind. I remember showing up to Gladys’ and sitting there. I just sat there, with material in hand, and never stepped foot on stage. I was freaked out. And the comics weren’t helping. My friends is what got me on stage.

So seeing the glazed over look in someones eyes was…well, was kinda funny, but at the same time a very clear reminder of my shaky begginings. So I felt they’re pain and have decided to get them on stage. Not at an audition of course. we’ll do an open mic. I’ll sit down with them and help with the material. See if we can get’em going.

Party On.
