What are the flonkin odds?

Okay. Being the obsessive guy that I am, I have a few Google alerts set up. One for myself, of course, and one for my beloved Brooklyn Comedy Company. So I get one of my alerts and it tells me that I’m mentioned on NYU’s student activities website. I’m excited. That’s great!

If all the flonkin’ information in the add wasn’t wrong.

Besides for the address being right, the web address and the title of the post is all flippin’ wrong. They have it linking to Brooklyncomedyclub.com. And it wasn’t the first time that the name has been misread. So I decide I’m going to buy the domain and redirect it to my site.

I go to buy it and…

SOMEONE ALREADY BOUGHT IT! Not only has someone bought it, the bought it approximately 20 minutes before I was going to. What the FRICKEN ODDS! I’m losing it. I am soooo pissed. So now I assume I’m going to have to try to buy it from the new owner who probably wants ridiculous money for it. He might just tell me to go to hell. I really, really, really want the fricken domain.

We’ll see what will occur.
