Again, this is why I’m not allowed to watch gangster movies or listen to inappropriate music.

A new song has come out called, ahem, “Im’a Hustla” by a rapper who goes by the name of Cassidy. The hook is abnormally catchy. I believe it goes

“Im’a hustla I’ma I’ma hustla homie, Im’a hustla I’ma I’ma hustla homie, Nigga ask a, Nigga nigga ask about me, Nigga ask a, Nigga nigga ask about me.”

Now this isn’t the most positive of hooks. But its CATCHY I say, and I’m running around humming this nonsense. I’m anti the Nigga word(for the most part, it does slip into a bit once and a while), but I now want this as my theme song for 2005. Its all pissed. And I like pissed. In the past year I’ve gained a great deal of respect for Jay Z. Who is the person who supplies the line for the catchy hook.

I now think of myself as a hustler. Admittingly what I’m hustling is laughs, not drugs, but its just as ganster…er…gangsta. The point is, as Yamaneika always refers to it, I’m in the ‘Grind’. I’m out trying to get as many sets as possible. So I’m like…er…a comedy…er…gangsta? Although, if anyone even considered shooting at me I quit. I’m not all Ride or Die. I’m all ride, no die.

Actually, I’m not really with the “Ride” either. If theres any chance of an accident I’m out. I don’t play this danger game people seem to be so amused by.

I have to go. I think I hear something in the kitchen.
